What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I absolutely enjoy breaking down difficult concepts to students and love it when they have their “lightbulb moments†where it finally starts making sense to them. I also enjoy witnessing students’ learning growths and it is very fulfilling to see them become confident in the subject matter.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My biggest strength is being able to make students understand difficult concepts. I published a Microeconomics book on Amazon 2 years ago where I simplified difficult concepts through illustrations and the book received a very positive response from the student & teacher community at my school. I have mastered the subjects I choose to tutor in. I received a 400/400 in business in A Levels and received an award for the highest mark in the world. I received 398/400 in Economics in A Levels and got an A grade in maths too. I received 92/100 in Intro Micro at Uni and 98/100 in Statistics at uni.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Having empathy for students is highly essential as a tutor. It is important to recognise that each student has a different challenge with their subject hence I am flexible to cater to different learning styles & connect with students on a deeper level so that they can learn effectively. I always motivate and encourage my students so that a supportive learning environment with positive reinforcement may be fostered. In the past, I tutored 4 university level students for Maths, Accounting and Computer Applications and hence I was able to understand and empathise with the different learning needs
