What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring presents a fulfilling opportunity to not only help a student build knowledge and expertise in a subject but further to inspire & ignite a sustained passion for learning. As a student myself, I recognise the great impact enjoying learning has on my studies, and therefore enjoy facilitating that positive experience for students. Tutoring also helps me strengthen my organisational & time-management skills. I find supporting & nurturing students on their educational journey to be immensely impactful & rewarding.

I am good at explaining concepts visually and like using diagrams and pictures to help students grasp concepts effectively. I am also very adaptable to different learning needs as I have had experience working with children of a wide age range.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor can greatly improve a student's academic capabilities not just by teaching concepts but also by helping build confidence and resilience in the student. An important aim for a tutor must be to encourage students to take initiative in their learning and develop a strong work ethic in order to solidify their understanding of different subjects. A tutor also has the ability to patiently understand and recognise different students' way of learning and accordingly tailor their teaching, unlike in a school setting.
