What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I find it very rewarding to watch a student reach the solution through my help and the accomplishment they feel at understanding the solution. In Mathematics these hints may be asking them what the next step is and continuing to prompt them and help where necessary, and for English I may give them synonyms for the exact word they are looking for or highlight where they should look in a passage for an answer to a question about a text.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I find I am quick to understand where a student is stuck and in coming up with a way to help them on the spot. I'm patient and a good listener and communicator, so helping students comes naturally to me and most of the time students come to me for help without me having to ask them.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I do think it's very important a student never feels judged or stressed from the pressure of learning, as that can taint their experience for a long time before they are comfortable again to engage actively. It's crucial tutors are understanding of how a student is feeling and supports them as much as possible in moments of confusion and frustration, which are natural when the content is hard.Tutoring students in 👦 👧
