What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy teaching and witnessing the progression of students. Seeing the evolution of their understanding, from being unable to grasp the subject to feeling like they understand it perfectly is very rewarding. In particular, it is often the case that it all comes together and starts making sense in one moment. Seeing somebody's eyes light up as they finally make sense of what they've been working on for hours is always an incredible experience.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have an extremely solid grasp on the subject that is mathematics. I adored the subject during my entire studies and excelled at it. Alongside this, I saw my fair share of people struggling with it and have been asked many times for help. This gave me valuable experience tutoring and recognising the best way of explaining diverse concepts.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is listen to the student. The first and most crucial part of tutoring is understand where the student is lacking, what concepts they are having a hard time understanding. It is essential to pinpoint the problem before attempting to solve it. A lot of people struggling in a subject do not know what they are missing and I believe that figuring that out is the primary role of a tutor. After having figured it out, the tutor will explain and connect it to all the other pieces of knowledge owned by the student.
