What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the fulfilment I gain from helping my students to understand concepts. As someone who has experienced the struggles of learning in primary school and high school, I can empathise with the students' difficulties and hence I believe in the importance of guiding and tutoring students and alleviate their academic struggles.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths are being able to learn content quickly, hence given textbooks or syllabus which I am required to teach, I am quickly able to grasp and understand the concepts to teach them. I can also break down these concepts into simple-to-understand parts, which is beneficial in communicating with the students and allowing them to understand the content.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

One of the most important things is to be always open to any questions without any judgement, no matter what sort of questions the students may have. I believe in the importance of establishing a comfortable and safe environment for students to voice their queries and also ideas which can facilitate learning. A tutor should also maintain professionalism, by keeping classroom contexts formal, while still keeping lessons engaging and fun. This means that the tutors should always ensure that the topic of discussion during tutoring sessions is always related to the subject being taught.
