What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The process of teaching allows me to further consolidate my own understandings of certain concepts, which I can then pass on to students, creating a feedback loop of deeper thinking in a sense.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a previous high achiever in Maths Ext 1 (97 Internal, Top 5 Internally at Baulkham Hills High School) pursuing a double degree at UNSW (Law/Actuarial Studies), I have developed a deep understanding into what is specifically needed in the NSW syllabus which I can pass onto students and extensive knowledge outside of the scopes of what will be tested. Through my multiple previous informal tutoring experiences, I have also had a proven track record in a number of previous clients through employing a back and forth conversational question style of teaching.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The greatest impact a tutor can have on a student is to give that particular student a holistic understanding of their given subject, and its application into the real world, whilst simultaneously remaining fun but professional and geared towards the syllabus at hand. A tutor should not simply be teaching their subject per se, but instead be a tutor that teaches life values.
