What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Solving problems alongside students and seeing them grow as individuals is a satisfying feeling for any tutor/teacher. I enjoy engaging with students as not just a tutor but also a mentor.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As someone who has tutored kids as young as year 4, my strength is being able to explain higher level topics with clarity and simplicity such that kids can understand. I pride myself in also being able to resonate with people regardless of personality, allowing me to understand the not only the academic needs of the student but emotional needs as well (e.g. some students may be more shy, requiring a different approach of teaching)

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Tutoring is not purely cold hard academics, it involves a level of engagement and interactiveness that fosters a love for learning and creates a positive environment for students. As a tutor, being able to empower the student and motivating them to improve is just as important is what constitutes effective teaching.
