What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I best part that I enjoy about tutoring is when I witness the students who understand the concept that they have been struggling with. I gives me great joy and fulfilment when I see that I made a difference and have become a part of their learning journey. The opportunity to create a positive impact on a young person is what I really enjoy about tutoring.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

One of my key strengths as a tutor is understanding the perspective of my student and considering their individual needs and abilities when working with them. I believe that each individual learning style is different and the ability to adapt my teaching style to suit the students' needs and preferences is my biggest strength. Anther key strength that I possess is clarity of explanation. If I am teaching a concept that a student finds difficult, I break the concept or idea down in to digestible sections allowing students to grasp concepts in a easy way.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things a tutor can do for a student is building their confidence; developing their knowledge, skills, and understanding; and promoting independence in learning. The tutor should create a safe space for the student to make mistakes and learn new things. This will develop their resilience and self-confidence. Likewise, a tutor should foster deep knowledge and understanding where students can make connections to learning to real-life contexts which are beyond the typical school setting. A tutor should also consider students interests allowing them to make their own decisions.
