What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the idea of providing personalised teaching approach for students. I enjoy the idea that I am able to make complex concepts easily understood by students through my help. This gives me a deep sense of fulfillment.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strength lies within my capacity to provide personalised approach to optimise student learning. For example, for over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience, I learned to understand students' verbal and non-verbal cues which I use to inform my teaching approach. By being sensitive to these cues and asking students explicitly about their learning needs, I am able to respond with more effective approaches which suits their learning. Ultimately, I have seen this approach to effectively scaffold students in order for them to achieve their academic goals.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

As a tutor, I do not only provide expert tutoring service for student which addresses their need for technical mastery of the topic. More importantly, I provide motivational and emotional support which boosts students confidence for them to become more effective learners. I think, molding holistic learners is an important responsibility tutors should keep in mind.
