What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing students grow and learn. I find it rewarding seeing students overcome challenges and develop new skills and enthusiasm for a subject. I also love the creative element teaching offers, being able to design teaching lessons catered to different students styles and needs
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my strengths as a tutor is to break down complex concepts into easy and simple to understand analogies which relate to student\'s life and experiences. For example some object in the room which we both can see. Additionally I believe one my strengths are of actively listening to student\'s questions and concerns and responding appropriately.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Encourage students to think critically and learn independently. I believe this to be core aspects of teaching which is largely avoided today. A good mentor is one that enables students to solve problems on their own, and supports students in discovering their interests and appreciation for the subject beyond their tutoring session.
