What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I like revising, communicating, and being able to teach a novel concept to a student effectively. It makes me really happy to know that I have taught them well enough to know the subject matter and be able to apply it.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I listen and pay attention to the student's needs, I respond to those needs appropriately with the right resources, and I always communicate effectively. As a tutor, I believe it is critical to have effective communication skills, as teaching is more about *how* you convey a particular topic.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Prepare before a lesson -themselves and any resoruces they may want to use. Listen to where the student is at with their learning and understanding, then work from there - work *with* the student. Use the student's strengths to teach them better, eg. giving more examples, or providing x amount of time to complete a certain activity, etc.
