What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I really enjoy being able to help someone grow and see the same question from a new light. It is rewarding knowing you have helped someone become a better version of themselves. I also generally enjoy teaching, guiding? supporting and just being there for my students.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Personally, I struggle to understand certain concepts and often go out of my way to research and thoroughly understand these concepts. As such, I believe that for any skill level, I am able to adapt and provide my student a thorough, in-depth understanding of the required concepts. I am also very efficient and have a strong work ethic and thus will be consistent and thorough in my role.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
It is extremely important that when the student is faced with a difficult question, they are able to see many potential methods to attempt it. As such I consider the most important thing that a tutor can do it expand the understanding of their student so much so that they can see these multiple methods by themselves and adapt their thinking to the exam situation. I also think it is extremely important that a tutor helps their student feel comfortable doing a subject and happy when they learn.
