What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing students finally understand the topics that were challenged and struggling in. I love to make subjects simple and break them down to small digestible pieces so that it is easier for the student to remember and understand. I believe that my greatest strength in being a tutor is my patience in teaching. I like to be patient in teaching my students as I believe rushing concepts and ideas and overloading information to students are detrimental to building knowledge and understanding of the subject. It is through consistent, and digestible teaching that students are able to comfortably able to understand, grow and retain the things that they have learned. The most important things that a tutor can do for a student is grow their confidence and appreciation for the subject. I think that many times, school and academics is seen to be far from everyday life when it comes to application.
