What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

As a person who has recently received tutoring for my VCE, I learnt that the key thing that differentiates tutoring from the traditional classroom is the fact that the 'why' behind concepts can be better explained; things often overlooked in a traditional classroom environment. Being able to teach students about things of that nature and also observing the growth of students in regards to their studies is quite enjoyable.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I understand the updated Mathematical Methods Study design thoroughly, and have full conceptual understanding of all its concepts. As a recent VCE graduate, I know the pressures of performing well, and all the stresses in the final years of schooling. With that being said, I try to consider this while teaching to not add any undue stress to my students. My goal when it comes to tuition is trying to get students slightly ahead of the class schedule, so then they are best prepared for their classes and assessments, so they are not left behind.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Aside from my conceptual understandings, I offer a lot of other 'services'. I understand the challenges being a VCE student presents, and I have learnt a lot of strategies in dealing with them (both in hindsight and during my studies). I will ensure my students are accountable for their work, and ensure that they make the most of their VCE, both from a results and social standpoint.
