What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
In the past few years, when I have helped my friends in some of their subjects (specially maths and chemistry), I have really enjoyed the moment when something clicks inside students head and they suddenly understand after you explained. It gives me a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I think I excel in the connections I have with my students. I tend to have a more friendship like connections with my student, which enables student be more comfortable to ask more questions, allowing them to grow further by coming out of their comfort zone.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I think it is very important to ask the student if theyβre still attentive and understanding after every while of teaching. This is because of the student have lost concentration, they will not be able to learn anything and the lesson will be effectively useless. Thus it is important to sometimes insert some humour or times to stretch to regain that attentiveness.
