What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the sense of fulfillment that I always get from it. Being able to leverage my own strengths to help others and change their lives for the better is something I find incredibly rewarding. Tutoring just so happens to be one of the best ways I can do this, primarily due to my strengths which will be better discussed in the next question.
Whether it was friends or siblings, over the years I’ve realised that I love helping other students with their schoolwork. So naturally, being able to do so officially at Ezy Math Tutoring is something I really look forward to
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My knowledge of course content, as well as my ability to teach are my biggest strengths as a tutor.
The most solid evidence of my knowledge is my recent school performance. Since I got into my schools Accelerated Mathematics program, I completed HSC Maths Advanced a year early, finishing with a staggering HSC mark of 92. In the Prelm Maths Ext 1 course, I ranked 3/63, and came 4th overall in HSC Software Design and Development.
I recognise that students are all different - Students learn differently, having varying interests and strengths. As a tutor, I can individually accommodate these.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
As someone who aligns very well with Ezy Math’s values, I believe that one of the most important things a tutor can do is empower their students. For a good tutor, it is very important that their students finish lessons having learnt something useful, feeling smarter and much more confident overall.
A good tutor is one changes their students’ lives for the better, which is something I really look forward to doing.
