What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I find the most rewarding about tutoring is seeing the moment when it 'clicks' for the student and knowing that they have learned and improved. Seeing my students do well and achieve their goals is my ultimate goal as a tutor.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I would say my strengths lie in my ability to communicate. I believe that a friendly and fun environment is crucial for a student to be able to fully benefit from tutoring. They have to want to be there and learn, which I think is a massive part of being a tutor, and will ultimately make the tutoring more effective. Another strength of mine would be my detailedness. I think, especially for maths, a student has to be able to develop their own connections and find their own way to the solution. To do so, they must have a good foundation of knowledge and that comes from being meticulous.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think a tutor has to be able to make the student want to learn, and make what they're learning interesting. A big part of this would be to get to know the student and cater to their individual needs and the unique way they learn. This also means maintaining a positive mindset and ensuring that the student knows that we are working together to face this challenge; that we are a team, rather than just me teaching and them learning.
