I believe that the most important action as a tutor I can do for the student is to make sure that they fully understand the concept or content and are not just saying that they understand the content in order to please me. I feel that as a tutor it is my responsibility to ensure that the student feels they can tell me where they need me to explain a specific element again or if they have any underlying questions.
