What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Tutoring has something I've been doing informally since I was in high school. Being able to help and guide children who struggle with a certain subject or topic and help them build confidence in answering or participating in school is fulfilling and rewarding, not just as a tutor but also as an aspiring educator. Knowing that you can help someone, academically and with their personal growth, is something I will always love about teaching/tutoring.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I believe some of my strengths are having a good understanding that every child is different, personality and knowledge wise. A child has different upbringing, environment, character, etc. and that should always be taken into consideration by the teacher/tutors. Aside from that, as a student myself, I believe that teachers or tutors needs to encourage and motivate their students to learn while including fun and enjoyment to that learning so students would never never be discouraged to keep learning and expanding their knowledge.
Most important things I can do for a student π
As a tutor, one of the most important thing you can do for you student is to support and empower them to continue learning and growing. Tutors are there to bring out the child's hidden skills and capabilities. Tutors don't only teach or guide a child but also to build that child's confidence and ignite their passion to continuously develop their skills.
