What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
It all started during my diploma break when I took a moment to reflect on how I could not only reinforce my knowledge but also find a way to earn some pocket money - tutoring
Back then, I had three year 7 high school students and one student in year 6.
What I truly enjoy about teaching is the satisfaction I get from seeing the progress my students make. No matter how small the improvement, it makes me very content and proud of them.
To be able to guide and support these young learners, helping them step by step to reach their potential, has truly become the best part of my teaching journey.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strength as a tutor is that I am a very friendly tutor (but able to be within my boundaries). I like to be cool with my students and by doing so, I believe that it allows students to feel comfortable and encourages them to openly engage in discussions. Asking questions, no matter how silly it is, is one of the best ways to learn. With them being confident to ask questions of me due to my amiability, I feel very happy.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I feel that as tutors, we want the best for our students and we want to help them as much as possible whenever and wherever. Hence, I consider helping students (outside of working hours), should they need help (especially during exams), is the least but most important thing a tutor can do for a student.
