What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Making a difference. As a tutor, I love being given the opportunity to positively impact students' lives by helping them overcome challenges, gain confidence, and achieve academic success.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strengths as a tutor are:
Knowledge - I possess vast information on various subjects, allowing me to provide accurate and detailed explanations.
Patience - I understand that learning takes time, and I can patiently guide students through challenging concepts until they grasp them.
Engagement - With interactive features such as quizzes, exercises, and multimedia content, I strive to keep students engaged throughout the learning process.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I consider to be the most important things a tutor can do for a student is:
Individualised attention - A tutor should focus on the specific needs and learning style of each student. This allows them to tailor their teaching methods accordingly.
Provide explanations and clarify doubts - Tutors are responsible for explaining difficult topics or concepts thoroughly, ensuring that the student understand them. They should encourage questions from the student and address any uncertainties they may have.

Julian did exceptionally well with reading. When he didn't know how to say a particular word, he would sound it out to himself.

He struggled to sit still and read the books with me. He would attempt to read three books at a time and would make jokes instead of reading. I'm thinking of possibly doing more engaging reading and writing activities next session.
