What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

- Tutoring gives the ability to connect with people who are at the same life stage as I am (students/youth). -Tutoring helps me put my educational qualifications and achievements to use (particularly Math and English). - Tutoring helps me contribute positively whilst studying. It is a very flexible vocation.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

- I am good at discerning student's abilities and can modify the pace of the class accordingly. - I have friends/peers who have worked as tutors for this organisation and I am able to learn from their experience. - I have worked as a student peer-support leader in the school which helps me connect with younger students easily.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to help them cultivate the habit of life-long learning beyond high school. -The tutor should (if possible) explain the context behind the content they are teaching and how it will potentially benefit the student. - The tutor should also discern the abilities of the student carefully and teach subjects at an appropriate pace. Personally, I also believe that the tutor should understand the limitations and the individual learning styles of the student(s) and cater to them accordingly.
