Local Reviews

I'm a returning customer and I've been so thrilled with the ease of using EzyMaths and the results have been wonderful! I last used it Teo years ago to help my son who was failing and then made it to the top of the year level. Recently my international student was failing maths but in a few short weeks she passed well enough to meet her academic needs. Thank you!

Inside Parafield GardensTutoring Sessions

Content Covered

Year 5 student Tia completed a mini test reviewing all textbook topics and practiced **classifying triangles** as well as solving complementary and supplementary angle problems.

Year 7 student Sam worked through **algebraic equations** and tackled number patterns, including BEDMAS and exponents with targeted practice questions.

For Year 12 Physics, Alex solved relativity problems using the **Lorentz factor**, explored time dilation, and discussed key aspects of their SHE task draft for assessment.

Recent Challenges

A Year 9 student working through algebraic word problems often skipped writing down known values and formulas, which led to confusion—"he went straight to solving without listing what was given," a tutor observed.

In Year 11 physics, another student struggled with organizing work: missing units and unclear layout made it hard to track where errors crept in.

Meanwhile, a Year 7 student avoided writing out calculation steps when dividing, relying on mental shortcuts that sometimes resulted in misplaced numbers.

For one senior chemistry learner, not converting measurements into SI units before substituting into equations caused repeated mistakes during practice questions.

Recent Achievements

One Parafield Gardens tutor noticed a Year 11 student who used to hesitate with time dilation problems in Physics now confidently chooses the correct reference frame and works through solutions independently after just a prompt.

In another session, a high schooler applying Coulomb's Law not only substituted values correctly but also managed to transfer those skills into new vector addition questions—a step up from earlier sessions where she needed help linking concepts.

Meanwhile, a younger student who once guessed at multiplication tables is now recalling them unprompted and recently solved all single-digit addition questions mentally without reaching for her fingers.

Local Spots for Tutoring

If you'd prefer not to have lessons at home, tutoring can also take place at a local library—such as Mawson Lakes Library—or at your child's school (with permission), like Karrendi Primary School.
