What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy watching a student have their “ahhh,†moment. That moment when you have successfully transferred what you know into words that someone else can understand. It’s when your student has that smile on their face when they realise that they can do something they at first thought they couldn’t. I enjoy watching students achieve a sense of pride and joy in their progress.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe that I am a good listener: this sets the foundation for an understanding relationship between the student and myself. I think it’s important for students to know that their tutor not only understands the difficulty of school but acknowledges the strength it takes to navigate ones way through the academic part of it. I also know that I pour my entire heart into what I do, which not only creates a positive learning space for my students but also ensures that they get the very best out of every session. My biggest strength is my ability to make others feel confident in themselves.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to speak and communicate in a way that makes the student feel encouraged, confident, understood and respected. To show them that they are not alone and that they have everything within themselves to confront difficult and challenging tasks
