What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to make an impact on my students and seeing exponential improvement even if they don’t believe it is possible. Throughout my schooling, I have always enjoyed education and loved to learn new things - and being able to impart my knowledge onto younger year levels is truly rewarding. I discovered from a young age that I had the ability to break down complex problems and simplify them into something that others can understand; a tutoring job allows for me to combine my passion for teaching others new and unfamiliar concepts and my love for certain subjects.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am extremely patient, which allows for me to take my time with my students as they familiarise themselves with a new provided method or concept. I also possess excellent time management organisational skills that are beneficial towards structuring lesson plans for my students so that they account for the student beginning to comprehend a new concept and then confidently put it into practice. Furthermore, my creativity will be of further benefit to my lesson plans - especially for younger year levels - as this allows for the time with my students to be fun, interactive and engaging!

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is support them throughout their entire learning journey, and supporting the way that each of their individual students’ learns best. As, this will allow for the exponential improvement in a student’s comprehension of a particular subject (or concept) to be further exaggerated. Additionally, a tutor must be able to be honest and empathetic with their students, whilst maintaining a professional relationship to establish the student’s trust in the tutors’ teaching abilities. Which, is beneficial to their learning progress in the long run.
